GA4 Training & Workshops
GA4 training that sticks (and yep, it can be fun too)
Hands-on GA4 training workshops that strip out the jargon, ditch the fluff, and help your team actually use all that juicy marketing data and not just, y’know, stare at it…
Work With Me
Your data doesn’t have to feel so complicated
Most marketers who come to me for analytics training are in the same boat… you know the data’s in there somewhere but finding it feels like a guessing game. And when you finally do find it, you’re not entirely sure what it’s telling you or what to do with it next.
You end up stuck in a cycle of clicking around, second-guessing, and spending far more time than you should trying to figure things out.
Sound familiar? That’s usually the point where people bring me in.
That way, we won’t waste time on generic stuff. We’ll focus on the specific actions that matter most to you and your time.
Depending on your team, goals, and level of experience, we might cover things like:
An introduction to GA4 foundations
Setting up analytics for eCommerce
Getting real insights from your data
Advanced GA4 actions and setups
Building custom Looker Studio reports
Finding the right data (fast)
Pricing
GA4 training without the jargon, fluff or awkward nodding along
2-hour workshop
Great if you’re new to GA4, have a specific analytics challenge you want to solve, or feel like you’ve been clicking around without really knowing what you’re doing.
We can focus on the fundamentals, answer your biggest questions, and get you to a point where GA4 starts making sense.
Full-day workshop
The most popular choice for teams wanting hands-on practical learning that clicks.
We’ll spend the day working through your setup, exploring your data, and making sure you feel confident getting stuck into the data. There’s plenty of time for questions and figuring things out together.
Multi-day training
If you want to go beyond the basics and build real in-house analytics skills, this is where we do it.
We’ll cover everything your team needs to confidently use GA4 day-to-day. We typically split this training into a one-day workshop followed by another day of putting everything into action.
Audit & Strategic training
The best choice for when something feels “off” in your Google Analytics.
We’ll start by auditing your GA4 account to spot what’s not quite right, what opportunities you’re missing, and what needs fixing. Then, we’ll build training around those gaps so you get training that genuinely makes a difference.
BONUS: Your team will get free access to my online GA4 course (RRP £99 each)
Not sure which one you need? No problem. That’s exactly what I’m here for. We can figure out what makes the most sense for your team together.
Workshops can be delivered online or in-person. I’m based in Orkney but don’t worry, I won’t make you trek to the very top of Scotland. I’ll come to you.
What’s included
The only GA4 workshop where you’re encouraged to call out the bullsh*t
I take pride in keeping things simple and jargon-free. If I start saying things like “leverage GA4’s data-driven insights to supercharge your revenue” then *buzzzzz* you’ve full got permission to hit the bullsh*t buzzer!
As well as having a buzzer to call out any bullsh*t, you also get all this when you attend one of my GA4 training workshops:
- Training tailored to your exact challenges, goals, and needs
- Any workbooks, worksheets, and presentation handouts
- Short, actionable 2-min (ish) videos for key learnings
- Real examples based on your organisation
- Any other resources that might be useful
- Homework (if you want it!)
And we’ll work directly in your Google Analytics account. This means you don’t just learn what to do. We’ll put those learnings into action inside your GA4 platform in real-time.
Now, that’s not something you see everyday…

What to expect
We’re not doing death by Google Slides
This isn’t a lecture. And you won’t be sitting there nodding along while internally screaming.
It’s hands-on, interactive, and built around your Google Analytics setup. We’ll work directly in your account, go through real examples, and make sure you actually understand what’s going on… and not just pretend you know.
And if I start overcomplicating things? You know what to do… hit the bullsh*t buzzer!
Back off man,
I'm a GA4 Analyst!
Hey, I’m Kyle Rushton McGregor – your go-to guy for all things Google Analytics.
As soon as GA4 was released in October 2020, I made it my mission to know everything about it. You can see a snapshot of me speaking about my GA4 love at BrightonSEO’s MeasureFest here 👉.
Passionate about data and analytics, I’ve trained 1000s of users and supported 100s of organisations with their GA4 needs.
P.S. if you got the Ghostbusters reference in the headline, we can totally be friends!
Training Testimonials
Have a nosey at what it’s like to learn from me
Sometimes, the best way to know if someone’s the right trainer for your team is to see them teach.
Here’s a talk I gave at brightonSEO’s MeasureFest. It should give you a good feel for my happy-go-lucky training style… just without the hands-on bits or you lot interrupting me with questions (which, for the record, I encourage in workshops)
Turn GA4 into something you actually use
We’ll get your team to the point where they can open GA4, find what they need, trust what they’re looking at, and actually use it to make decisions… without going down a 2-hour rabbit hole every time.
If that sounds like a better way of working, let’s get something in the diary.
GA4 training and workshop FAQs
It depends on what you need (classic marketer answer)…
If you’re looking for help with something specific or some quick Google Analytics 101 training, the 2-hour workshop is usually enough. If you want hands-on learning that properly builds your team’s skills, a full-day or multi-day session tends to work better.
And if you need help diagnosing what’s gone wrong in your GA4 and building training around getting the most out of it, the audit & strategic training option is the one for you.
If you’re not sure, don’t overthink it. Drop me a line and we’ll figure it out together.
The 2-hour session is more focused. Multi-day training goes much deeper. It’s designed to upskill your team, give you time to apply what you’re learning, and then come back for follow-up sessions where we can really finetune your GA4 setup and skills.
I really don’t want to say everyone but… everyone! Marketing teams working in agencies, charities, and businesses who want to get more from their data can all benefit from these training workshops.
I can deliver workshops for marketers of all experience levels, and I’ll happily train a room full of people whose experience ranges from 1 hour to 30+ years.
You don’t need to be technical to learn about Google Analytics. I’ll help you understand your data and how to use it, regardless of what level you’re starting from.
Not at all.
I explain everything in simple terms, at your team’s level, and with plenty of space for questions. If anything’s unclear, we’ll slow it right down and work through it together.
Google Analytics 4 is the current standard for digital analytics. Learning how to use GA4 means you’ll be able to dive into your marketing data and use it to improve what you’re doing.
Yeah, and that’s kind of the whole point behind the way I deliver these workshops.
Before the session, you’ll fill out a short pre-training survey so I can understand your setup, challenges, and what you want to get out of the training.
From there, everything is tailored to you right down to the examples we show and the fact we’ll work inside your very own GA4 account.
Clarity, confidence, skills, and a lot less wasted time.
Instead of relying on people like me to come in and manage your analytics for you, your team will learn how to do it themselves.
Depending on what we focus on in your training workshop, your team will be able to confidently set up GA4, make use of advanced analytics features, better understand their data, create custom reports, and use your marketing data to make proper decisions.
Training can be delivered online or in-person.
If you want to book an in-person workshop, I just ask that travel expenses are covered. But we’ll sort all that out during the onboarding process.
Most teams put this under their learning & development or training budget.
It’s essentially an investment in upskilling your team that means instead of relying on external support long-term (from people like me) you’re building the knowledge in-house.
Most training doesn’t stick because it’s too generic, too technical, or there’s no follow-up.
In my training sessions, everything’s tailored to you. You fill out a pre-training survey, we work in your actual GA4 account, and you can get follow-up support when you start applying everything you learned.
I also give you as many post-training resources as possible to help you put everything into practice. From the presentation handouts to any worksheets, workbooks, extra resources, or homework.
So it’s not just a “learn and forget” type of workshop. It’s built to stick.
